Real Server IP Obfuscation in APM Beacon Messages
Prior to this version, when injecting an APM script into an HTML page, the chosen real server IP was written inside of the data sent to the client and then embedded inside an HTTP header in the client beacon message.
Starting with this version, this data is hidden from the client. The APM behavior from the client perspective is the same as before.
Certificate Renew from WEB UI and REST API
Certificate renewal is now available from WBM and via REST API. To renew an existing certificate, select the Renew Certificate check box in the Import pane.
REST API: Error! Hyperlink reference not valid.
Standalone/Dedicated Alteon GSLB Supports 2048 Remote Servers
Prior to this version, Alteon inaccurately always reported the maximum number of remote servers as 1024. This was fixed to reflect the accurate number, which is equal to the maximum number of real servers supported on each specific device/form factor.

GSLB Site State Based on Connectivity Instead of the DSSP Message
Prior to this version, In an asymmetric global environment (where the same services are not present in all sites), if site A received updates from site B, and none of the site B services (VIPs) were defined as remote servers in site A, site B was viewed as down by site A. This has now changed so that site B is reported as up as long as updates arrive.

Connection Closure Delay
Prior to this version, when processing traffic in Proxy mode, if one of the sides sent a FIN on a TCP connection, Alteon would also immediately close the connection on the other side of the connection. Now Alteon lets you delay the connection closure by a specified time, allowing for cases where the side that did not initiate the FIN to be in the middle of message transmission.
The FIN Delay parameter can be configured in the relevant TCP policy.
